The Association of Pro Bono Counsel (APBCo) is pleased to announce that Elizabeth P. Lewis, Partner, Pro Bono and Community Service at McDermott Will & Emery LLP, has been named Co-President of the Board of Directors, joining Co-President Tiffany Graves, Pro Bono Counsel at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP.
This year also brings the addition of Rachel R. Brown, Director of Pro Bono and Social Impact at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP and Amy Grunske, Head of International Pro Bono, Sustainability and Community Responsibility at Orrick to the Board of Directors. Grusnske and Brown will each serve a three-year term.
Sharmaine Heng, Director of Pro Bono and Social Impact at Nixon Peabody LLP, is taking on the role of Treasurer for the organization.
The Association of Pro Bono Counsel is a mission-driven membership organization of 285 attorneys and practice group managers who run pro bono practices in nearly 150 of the world’s largest law firms. APBCo’s mission is to maximize access to justice through the delivery of pro bono legal services by advancing the model of the full-time law firm pro bono counsel, supporting and enhancing the professional development of pro bono counsel, and serving as the voice of the law firm pro bono community.
