A group of medical school students and doctors are developing a clinic that offers remote medical and psychological evaluations of detained and non-detained immigrants in areas of the country with low access to such services. The program connects mental health professionals with asylum seekers by telephone or video-conference.

The program is looking for legal assistance regarding whether there are any state or federal limitations on these doctors providing such services to detained and non-detained immigrants in a number of states including GA, NC, TX, CA, AZ.
