Racial Discrimination Litigation —- WilmerHale represents a class of African-America Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents in Title VII litigation in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. The litigation, originally filed in 1977, sought declaratory and injunctive relief for the plaintiff class to redress racial discrimination in the employment policies, patterns and practices of the DEA. Specifically, the claims related to discrimination in the DEA’s patterns and practices with respect to hiring, training, work assignments, promotion, and discipline.
An individual class member is seeking representation in connection with an EEO complaint the agent filed related to certain discipline the agent was subjected to by supervisors. Specifically, the agent alleges that false statements by supervisors subjected the agent to an internal investigation and OIG review. Agent is located in Atlanta.
Happy to share more information if your firm has interest in possibly undertaking representation of this agent. Thanks. Chris
