Please join us in Chicago for the 2023 Pro Bono Academy, Monday, October 2, to Wednesday, October 4, 2023. This conference is designed for people who devote at least half of their time to facilitating and managing pro bono work.

A few key timing details to note:

• Programming on Monday, October 2nd will kick off around lunch time to allow time for travel on Monday morning.
• Substantive programming on Wednesday, October 4th  will end by 3:00 pm.  We will host a final social gathering with snacks, coffee and other refreshments to end the conference from 3:00-4:00 pm.

We will have a mix of joint/APBCo/LSO programming across all three days of the conference. While the agenda is still in the works, you can look forward to some tried and true favorites like NewCademy, as well as best practices for LSOs and firms to work together; how to structure and manage those relationships; and how to have honest, and sometimes difficult, conversations with one another.

We will be in a large conference space at 333 N. Green Street in Chicago’s West Loop/Fulton Market area for the first two days and at McDermott and Skadden on the final day. We also have some fun social events scheduled for you to explore Chicago. Our fearless Chicago team, led by Sara Ghadiri and Eddie Houlihan, is working to pull together a list of hotel options to share soon, but there is no hotel block that will be secured for this conference. All of us on in the Chicago community from both APBCo and legal services organizations are very excited to host you!
